On Thursday 21st June 21 children from MIS, MJS and Bacton visited UEA and the Sainsbury Centre in Norwich, as part of our work on raising aspirations.
We had a fantastic day touring the entire campus – we even looked at the accommodation and the ‘nap-zone’! Our UEA student ambassadors were very informative – they really helped the children get a good understanding of what a University is! During the afternoon we took part in an Art workshop at the Sainsbury Centre with a particular focus on the sculptures which surround the building.
Our day of higher learning was great and our aspirations have risen – we just need to get through primary school, high school and college before we can apply to be an undergraduate!!
