Dolphin Class Weekly Update 10/02/2023

This week in Dolphin class, we have been making Anglo-Saxon designing and making Anglo-Saxon helmets. These have been a challenging build but everyone has been able to successfully create a helmet in their own individual style.

In maths we have been focusing on multiplying and dividing 2 and 3-digit numbers by a 1 digit number. The class have all worked very hard this week, with all of us being in the learning pit at some point in the week. But we were all able to use our resilience to help us succeed in the challenges faced.

In English, we have had great fun learning and writing our own Limericks. Limericks are short, snappy and funny poems that have a rhyming pattern of a, a, b, b, a, they also have a set amount of syllables for each line. We came up with all kinds of rhymes (generally around toilet humour), writing lots of great poems.
