Seahorse class have been very busy this week with year 1 and 2 learning to play London’s Burning on recorder. They also learnt about primary and secondary colours and made their own colour wheels. Meanwhile Reception have been visiting London landmarks in the story ‘Katie in London’. They have been describing each location they go to, ready to write about their favourite. In English Years 1 and 2 have started their new book called ‘Vlad and the Great Fire of London’. This week we were introduced to Vlad the flea and his friend Boxton the rat and have been writing from Vlads point of view about the Great Fire of London. We will find out how they survived the fire next week. In maths years 1 and 2 have been learning about money and have been recognising coins and notes. They have been very resilient and have learnt how we can make the same amount using different coins.
