Not only has this week been crammed full of learning in school it’s also been an exciting week for learning out of school. On Monday volunteers from years 5 and 6 went to Gresham’s village school to take part in a young leader event during which they learnt skills to use in school to run small group games under the supervision of school staff. Then on Thursday they visited Time and Tide Museum in Great Yarmouth as part of their Stone Age Topic. They had a truly fantastic day and their experiences included hunting, artefact handling and storytelling. The children’s behaviour was exemplary, setting the standard for other visiting schools during the day to measure up to. There are lots more photos on the school website.
