Starfish have had another super week! We have continued our learning of nature this week and had a focus on animals. The children talked about what animals they might see and where they live. We decided to make some bird feeders for the children to hang on the field for the birds, threading hoops onto pipe cleaners. The children also enjoyed making their own ‘underground’ den using the tables, chairs and blankets. The children loved crawling under the tables and pretending they lived under the ground like worms, moles and badgers. We also had a special visitor during the week – a baby owl! The children were brilliant at listening to facts about owls and were really careful whilst around the owl. We then ended our week in our pyjamas with a treat of cereal for snack!
