It has been another productive and exciting week in Sharks. In English, we have come to the end of our Non-chronological Reports on the events following Operation Dynamo and typed them up to look like professional resources. In maths, we looked in more detail at taking apart ever larger numbers and reconstructing them in increasingly unusual ways to help with our partitioning. In Topic, we looked at the Chain Home system and the three different Radar setups that were used – Chain Home, Chain Home Low and Chain Home Extra (Ask your children what they were for!) We ended the week with some art – looking at Spitfires from different perspectives before having a go at following a guide on how to sketch one accurately. I am very pleased with the results and we are looking forward to adding watercolour to our designs next week.
