Shark Class Weekly Update 30/06/2023

We’ve had an extremely busy week in Shark’s class! Some of us have been off visiting our high schools for transition days, some of us have gone to the Norfolk show, and some of us have been off camping at Mundesley. Everyone is very happy but very tired!

In English, we had a go at writing our own Kennings based on Norfolk Wildlife. We had lots of fun performing our poems and having a go at guessing exactly what it was about… Can you work out this example?

Cathedral nester,
Fellow bird hunter,
Stationary hoverer,
Break-neck diver,
Stealth inspirer,
Leather-glove grabber.

Our Year 6 team went to the Norfolk Show on Thursday to present our work on the On The Map project. They spoke to the Minister of Agriculture about their work and some even spotted the Prince of Wales!

The Year 5s had their campout at Mundesley and represented our class extremely well. Everyone said they were polite and they made lots of new friends from across the Federation. Highlights include beach-combing, smores and approximately 3 hours of sleep from all of the excitement!
