This week Starfish have been curious and creative, working collaboratively in both the indoor and outdoor area.
In the quiet area, the children chose to create their own story time. They all chose a book and found a cosy spot to either read their story by themselves or to share with a friend. It was very quiet and very peaceful and lovely to see the children taking such good care of our books.
In the construction area, the children created a wall using the bricks. When we commented that the wall looked like Stonehenge, the children asked what that was. We had a look at some pictures of Stonehenge and explained that it was in another part of the country. The children were very intrigued and continued to copy the pictures of Stonehenge using the bricks.
